There is no monthly fee, no upfront cost, and no charge to list a product or apply as a closer. Closr keeps 10 percentage points of each product commission offer, taken from a real sale.
Know how each sale is shared
The business chooses a total commission percentage. At the standard platform fee, Closr receives 10% of the sale price from that commission. The closer receives the remaining commission, and the business keeps the share outside the offer.
For a single 100 dollar sale with a 50% commission offer and the standard 10% platform fee:
| Line | Amount |
|---|---|
| Customer pays through Stripe | 100 dollars |
| Business keeps | 50 dollars |
| Closer earns | 40 dollars |
| Platform keeps | 10 dollars |
This example shows the commission split. Payment processing fees apply. Refunds can reverse earnings. Closer payouts require approval and completion of the hold period.
What each side pays
Businesses
- Nothing to sign up and nothing to list a product
- You choose the commission offer, which must be at least 10 percent
- Commission is only ever paid from a completed sale
- Standard Stripe processing fees apply to the charge
Closers
- Nothing to apply and nothing to sell
- You earn the commission offer minus 10 percentage points
- Commission becomes available after payment, approval, and the refund hold
- Payouts through Stripe Connect
Good to know
Is there really no monthly fee?
Correct. The platform only earns the 10 percentage point share of a commission offer, and only when a customer pays for a product.
What is the minimum commission offer?
A product commission offer must be at least 10 percent so the platform fee can be collected. A 10 percent offer would pay the platform 10 points and the closer nothing, so choose an offer above 10 percent to give closers an earning opportunity.
Are processing fees included in the example?
Stripe processing fees apply to customer payments and are separate from the commission split shown here. The example assumes a sale with no discount. A closer funded discount reduces the closer commission.
Can the platform fee change?
The default platform share is 10 percentage points. Each sale records the percentage in effect when it was created, so a later change does not affect past sales.
How are subscription renewals shared?
Closer commission applies to the initial subscription sale. On renewals, Closr collects the applicable platform fee and the business receives the remaining share. Renewals do not generate additional closer commission. Payment processing fees apply.
